Since its establishment, CCG has paid close attention to international relations and China's foreign affairs, tracking the development and changes of China's bilateral economic and trade relations with the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America, Australia, the Middle East and other countries and regions, and has been devoted to research on China-US-Europe cooperation, the Belt and Road Initiative, WTO reform, CPTPP and other multilateral topics, as well as providing recommendations for policymaking.
The annual flagship forums held by CCG for successive years have contributed to discussion on China-U.S. relations and China-EU cooperation, promoted international exchange, and given full play to the role of think tanks in track II diplomacy. CCG regularly conducts research and exchanges in multiple countries, and published a series of Chinese and English research reports on China-U.S. economy and trade relations.
The think tank hosts a series of roundtable seminars all year round, and invites think tank experts and scholars, political leaders, business elites and diplomats from the United States, Canada, Britain, Australia, Japan, Germany, Egypt and other countries to discuss and exchange views on international relations and multilateral cooperation.

CCG Holds 9th China and Globalization Forum
Beijing, September 21, 2023 - The 9th China and Globalization Forum, a significant event in the Center for China and Globalization's (CCG) 15th-anniversary series, successfully concluded in Beijing. After two years, the forum returned to its offline format, drawing over 200 distinguished guests, including policymakers, diplomats, international organization representatives, experts, scholars, industry leaders, and media from across the globe. The forum provided a platform for robust discussions on pressing international issues, aiming to foster consensus and provide recommendations for China's deepening reform, active participation in globalization, and engagement in global governance.

7th Annual China Global Think Tank Innovation Forum
The 7th China Global Think Tank Innovation Forum, organized by the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) and supported by the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies, brings leading figures from the global think tank community to discuss topics such as China-US competition and cooperation in the post-epidemic era, relaunching China-US humanities exchanges, development and cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as the "Chinese path to modernization" and China's opening up to the world. The forum also marks the release of the new CCG book Understanding Globalization, Global Gaps, and Power Shifts in the 21st Century - CCG Global Dialogues and a special dialogue with senior diplomat and president of the Council on Foreign Relations, Richard Haass. The Center for China and Globalization(CCG) initiated the "China Global Think Tank Innovation Forum" in 2016. Previous events have included participation of representatives from dozens of diplomatic envoys and international organisations in China, hundreds of think tankers, and hundreds of representatives from research institutions, enterprises, and media. The Forum is dedicated to gathering global consensus among think tanks, promoting the exchange of ideas, and actively exploring forward-looking and innovative solutions.
